About
Dr. Bret Lesavoy

Dr. Lesavoy is a 4th-generation “Allentonian” who is thrilled to be back in the Lehigh Valley! Bret’s Lehigh Valley roots run deep. His grandfather, Dr. Stanley Stein, was Chief of Pediatrics at St. Luke’s Hospital for 32 years and was a practicing physician in the Allentown and Bethlehem areas for 56 years. As one of his biggest influences, Bret knew he wanted to follow his grandfather’s footsteps into pediatrics - specifically focusing on giving kids the gift of a healthy smile.

With his extensive clinical experience Dr. Lesavoy takes a conservative approach to dental care. He is a strong believer in collaborating with parents and caretakers in the comprehensive care of their children. As a team, Bret and his patients’ families discuss and determine a personalized treatment plan for each child. Dr. Lesavoy's passion for building meaningful relationships and creating a fun, educational dental experience for every patient is evident with each visit.

Why See a Prosthodontist?

If you have a complicated treatment plan, have a lot of missing or broken teeth, or have highly esthetic concerns, you should choose a prosthodontist. Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA). Prosthodontists are skilled specialists that can restore oral function by placing restorations or prostheses (dentures, implants, crowns, veneers, etc.) to restore your smile.

To become a prosthodontist, one must complete three more years of specialty training after getting a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at an ADA-accredited prosthodontic academic program. It is through this training that prosthodontists learn the latest techniques and procedures, including digital dentistry, implants, and newest ceramic materials for restoration of teeth.

When a patient's teeth are severely damaged, there may be other problems besides tooth loss or tooth structure. While acting as the quarterback, we can team up with your general dentist and other trusted specialists to provide a complete, personalized treatment plan for your individual situation.
